The Body

Human formation is best described as mastering our emotions and passions by developing an influential and virtuous character. In order to accomplish this process, we must cultivate maturity, confidence, and leadership skills.  Establishing a well-formed character at Saint John Paul II Academy requires:

Human Formation

  • Empathy as an essential part of suitable interpersonal skills.

  • Firmness of will and self-control.

  • An ability to converse appropriately, in any given situation, with peers and elders always being mindful of charity and respect.

  • A well formed conscience that cultivates sincerity, generosity, honesty, responsibility and respect.

  • An understanding of the value of health and hygiene through a modest and chaste attitude and physical presentation.

"The education of the moral conscience... cannot be renounced."
